Why Parked Plastic Exists
As a disc golfer, I know how quickly plastic piles up. Trusted throwers share space with backups, mystery-box finds, trades, and impulse buys that may never make it back onto the course.
Meanwhile, another player may be searching for that exact mold, an affordable first disc, or a replacement for a lost favourite. Parked Plastic brings those players together without old Facebook posts, scattered comment threads, or a year-long wait for the next Swap'n'Sell.
What I Believe
Plastic Should Keep Moving
A disc sitting in storage could become someone else's first driver, favourite approach disc, or replacement for a lost thrower. Reselling keeps the sport affordable and reduces waste.
Simple Beats Complicated
Buying and selling used discs should not be a headache. Listings should be clear, searching should be useful, and connecting with sellers should be straightforward.

About the Builder
Parked Plastic is created and maintained by Janne Ovaska, a business consultant and web developer who started playing disc golf in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the sport.
I started the project to solve my own frustration with finding used discs and gear. I also want it to help introduce new players, grow the sport, and improve through feedback from the people using it.
